Still working today. In case anyone is having problems, here are all the steps for a successful installation: 1. Install TomTom from Playstore, having beforehand removed all traces of any previous installation.
Run TomTom until you get to the map download page. Do not download any maps. Close TomTom. Find the folder com.tomtom.gplay.navapp in internal storage /Android/OBB and copy it to a safe place. Uninstall TomTom, clearing cache and data. Install the patched version but don’t open it yet.
Copy the folder com.tomtom.gplay.navapp that you saved back to internal storage / Android/OBB. Run TomTom and download required maps.
↓. Electrobone The steps didn’t work, couldn’t download any maps so I had to do a workaround by downloading 1 map while still in the legit gplay app. After that i copied the Maps folder from my phone to my pc, and did the same with the whole obb folder called com.tomtom.gplay.navapp. Then i deinstalled the legit app, reinstalled this patch (works btw) and after starting it it asked if i want to share information to the server (gps, location, etc) in real time, i clicked yes, then it asked for participation and i pressed no.
Tomtom Gps Cracked Android Update
After that i could download any map. Also it helps if you go to your android phone settings and put the language to UK english before you start. ↓. Dr James Update: the method which I described on 5th October no longer works, as installing the Play Store version now merely creates an empty folder com.tomtom.gplay.navapp. You need a file named main.1646522.com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.obb within that folder.
Here are the new instructions: 1. Uninstall any previous version of TomTom, clearing cache and data. Install the patched version, but do not open it. Search the web for main.1646522.com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.obb, download it and place it in the folder com.tomtom.gplay.navapp in internal storage /Android/OBB. If that folder doesn’t already exist, create it. Run TomTom and download desired maps. Note there is no need to install and uninstall the Play Store version first.
↓. Dr James I have tried it on three different devices today – a Galaxy S4, a Galaxy Tab S and a Lenovo A806 – and have determined that the method of installation varies somewhat according to device, and possibly according to Android version as well.
The method I described on 30th October works on the Galaxy S4, but not on the other two. Here are my revised instructions: 1. Uninstall any previous version, clearing cache and data. Install the patched version, but do not open it.
Using your file manager, check to see if a folder named com.tomtom.gplay.navapp has been created by the installation either in internal storage /Android/OBB or in SD Card /Android/OBB. If such a folder exists, search the web for a file named main.1646522.com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.obb, download it and place it in the folder, and run TomTom. If the folder was not created by the installation of the patched version, uninstall clearing cache and data, download the Play Store version, and follow the instructions given in my post of 5th October, but note that in some devices the folder com.tomtom.gplay.navapp may be created in SD Card /Android/OBB, not in internal storage.
