Morrowind Patch Better Bodies
Morrowind is the third installment in the Elder Scrolls series. The game takes place on the island of Vvardenfell, a district in the Dunmeri province of Morrowind. It is smaller in scope than the previous games in the main series, Daggerfall and Arena, yet much more detailed. This epic, open-ended RPG allows for a wide variety of character designs and play styles.
The game continues to be sold on store shelves ten years after its initial release, partially due to the widespread mod community which has the potential to supply Morrowind with new content in perpetuity. It's long, but I think is definitely worth it. It's primarily an intensive graphics overhaul, which was important for me. But it also recommends a few gameplay and other mods that stay true to the vanilla feel. As a note, I found after following the guide that I was getting some errors in-game. There were a few textures missing. I eventually found that there is a.
This helps fix a lot of the errors. Tl;dr.
Edit: I guess to better answer your question: I recommend keeping essentially a vanilla experience and focus on graphics and bugfix mods, with maybe a few gameplay improvement mods. Make sure you are using the Morrowind Code Patch and Morrowind Patch Project.
These fix SOOO many issues with the game that it seems pretty boneheaded not to use them. I also recommend getting the Dark Brotherhood Delay mod because there's nothing from Tribunal expansion that you need or should be getting before level 15. There are a couple of other fixes you might want, but I don't remember them off the top of my head.
Talrivian's HP mod and the Fair Magicka Regen mod are pretty good, and while they generally make the game easier, it doesn't detract from the experience. As for MGSO, I think the textures are too busy and the SFX too dramatic, so I would say to pass on it.

Slayerming2: So i actually played 22 hours of the game already on steam, so I guess it isn't a first time playthrough. Thing is I played it with the mgso mod, that apparently I shouldn't use.
But the problem is I had a lot of stuttering, which is pretty annoying. So I'm going to try out the gog version and hope that one is better. But if I just wanted patches or anything else the devs added, what would it be? Can somebody explain me why not?
I played through it about two years ago with MGSO with no problems:s. Of note, if you.really. want to play the game as it was originally released, there is apparently a patch floating around the Internet that allows you to downgrade. I only recommend this if you are speedrunning the game or are doing what I would call 'software archaeology', as the game was extremely buggy when first released.

Side note: The version of Daggerfall from Bethesda's website comes with the patch, but it is not automatically installed, so you can play without it if you're feeling brave. For Morrowind: highly recommend using only Morrowind Code Patch and Unofficial Morrowind Patch. For later playings Tamriel Rebuilt, Better Bodies, Better Heads, Real Signposts etc. Although I'd suggest using openMW Why even download daggerfall and arena from gog, use wiwilands versions.
